ixp4xx-microcode software package provides Binary microcode for the IXP4xx ethernet, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ixp4xx-microcode
ixp4xx-microcode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ixp4xx-microcode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ixp4xx-microcode *
You will get with ixp4xx-microcode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
